We create our own coffees in-house, and we do things differently. You see, many coffee companies use the same old metal-drum roasting process, leaving coffee beans scorched on the outside and undercooked on the inside. The result can be an uneven coffee roast, which does no justice to good coffee beans – and gives you that burned, sour, bitter taste of a classic bad coffee.
Instead, we insist on using hot-air convection roasting. It’s a far gentler process, heating the coffee beans at half the temperature with consistent flows of hot ever-moving air. This method gives you a perfect, aromatic, evenly-cooked coffee roast with slower caramelisation, and without any of that bitter taste. Retaining the full glorious spectrum of those richer, smoother, and deeper coffee flavours.
